Description
Perhaps one of the best-known landlocked salmon waters in Maine, West Grand Lake is one of only four waterways that historically held landlocked salmon.The14,340-acre lake is situated in a wilderness setting in Maineâs Down east region. The outflow of West Grand Lake is the Grand Lake Stream, also known for landlocked salmon. You can also fish for lake trout, smallmouth bass and lake whitefish. Ice fishing is popular here in February and March.
