WHY IT WINS
- Temperature edge: The thermal imagery shows a distinct 64°F band intersecting cooler plumes. Predators patrol that seam, and smallmouth are in their optimal zone (67°F) with high metabolic drive.
- Structure + clarity: Satellite imagery reveals dark, serpentine channels leading into protected shallows. The clarity analysis indicates stained water in the southern inflow areas, so a high-vibration, dark profile bait gets tracked easily.

START HERE
From the southwesternmost point of the lake, move east along the first visible channel mouth that cuts into the forested shoreline. Park on the windward side of the channel mouth and fan-cast the edge where the dark water meets the main lake.

- Backup: If the chatterbait draws follows but no commits, switch to a 1/4oz black/blue jig with a Rage Craw trailer. Slow-roll it through the same channel mouth, pausing on the bottom.
- If the bite is still stingy: Go to a wacky-rigged 5” Senko in green-pumpkin. Pitch it into the stained pockets along the channel edge.
BEST WINDOW
Be on the water by 8:00 PM local. The major solunar window opens at 8:32 PM and runs until 11:02 PM. The first 45 minutes will be the most productive – the thermal edge is still visible, and the falling pressure has fish in a chasing mood. Wind should be light to moderate (5–11 mph from the west), which is ideal for your reaction bait.
