Which to target right now: Largemouth bass.

Why: The stale (67-hour-old) lake-page surface temperature of 68°F overlaps the center of the largemouth bass reference range (60–75°F). Combined with the northeast quadrant's meandering shoreline geometry — the strongest usable satellite signal on this lake — that structure provides the best habitat access to verify on site. Smallmouth bass are also listed, but no evidence points to the hard-bottom transition or current seams they typically require, so start with largemouth.

Start here: Irregular shoreline pocket in the northeast quadrant — verify with GPS or map, then use side-scan to identify submerged objects near the shoreline.

Presentation: Plastic worm (green pumpkin or junebug), Texas-rigged, slow drag along any cover you confirm. Backup: a square-bill crankbait worked parallel to the bank.

First adjustment: If no strikes in 30 minutes, move to the central-east peninsula cluster and watch for surface ripples or wind-driven current around the points. Switch to a spinnerbait to cover water faster.
