Description
Deer Creek State Park is a no longer a SUSPECT reservoir for Quagga Mussels. The park was officially de-listed from this status after 3 years of testing with no further positive measures for the presence of mussels. Any boat coming from out of state or Lake Powell must still be inspected and decontaminated before launching into Deer Creek. Draining your boat when leaving Deer Creek Reservoir is no longer required, but we still encourage boats to clean, drain and dry. There is no longer a required dry time before launching in another water body after boating at Deer Creek. Please remember to continue to complete, sign and display an Aquatic Invasive Species Certification Form before launching.
